Hi I’m Niki - 

I’m the owner of Crystal Point Piercing and a jewellery magpie!
I love shiny things.

I pretty much live and breathe piercing and get super excited about all the jewellery that is available now.

I’ve been involved with the piercing industry for a long time!!

After I had my navel piercing done in the 90s I was sold! It was after seeing a video on MTV.

My experience was such a good one that I fell in love with the piercing industry there and then.

6 months later I was working in a piercing shop.

My career:

I started working as shop receptionist and jewellery counter assistant for Gorlubb Piercing in Copenhagen in the mid 1990s.

I moved from Denmark few years later and started working in Camden Town for London Piercing studio selling piercing jewellery in a tiny stall next to Cyberdog.

Later I worked as a manager at Chrome in Camden and did all aspects of running a studio apart from actual piercing.

I thought piercing was the holy grail of jobs but didn’t have the guts to do it for years. 

After many clients expressing wanting me to pierce them I started my “apprenticeship” in 2004.

I still have a copy of my license from back then.

I moved from London to be with family in Wrexham and have pierced here since 2010, then established Crystal Point Piercing in 2012. 

 It is my passion, my joy and not a “job” to me.

I have helped thousands of people with their piercings.

Over the decades I’ve seen 

the quality improve, 

the materials improve, 

the designs improve 

and also seen the reaction in human skin and how various different materials react and have seen thousands of humans in my career.

 I have a good grasp of what works for different anatomy  and what works for different shapes and what suits different styles. 

My passion started many many years ago and it still continues to this day -  I love helping my clients find the right piece for them.

I am more than happy to help you find your perfect piece for your piercing.

I have an honest approach I’m not just in it for the money I’m very straight about what works and what won’t.

I think it’s important to consider what you do in your lifestyle, how healthy you are, what your intentions are, and what your end result will be as you’re in as your.

I can advise all the way through the process if you require it.

If the jewellery fit isn’t going to be comfortable it will be a waste of money, and I will give you this advice.

I appreciate people coming with some amazing ideas however with this much experience we cannot work against gravity or science and some of the things people want to have done will migrate and scar long-term.

I own the wonderful studio Crystal Point Piercing a place where you can speak in confidence and privacy.

There you can speak freely without anybody listening in and your private conversations with me will stay private and confidential.

I am more than happy to help anxious clients or clients who need support with mental health to have a good calm experience.
